Congratulations to our partner Emily Daniels from Here THIS Now who was just awarded a contract with the New Hampshire Department of Education! The DOE will partner with her program The Regulated Classroom© which assists educators throughout the state in preparing their students for learning and equipping educators with resources to reduce stress and dysregulation in the classroom.   Check out the press release here!

“Teachers are hurting, and students are hurting. They need meaningful resources to help heal and transform,” said Daniels. “We want to get our toolkit in as many hands as possible so that when teachers are in the moment, they can promptly regulate, engage, teach and connect. Making these resources available, for free, to New Hampshire educators is a positive step toward resilience and growth.”

Anyone that works or volunteers with youth in the state of New Hampshire is eligible to register for FREE for this Train the Trainer event. The training, totaling 12-hours delivered over four sessions, is designed to provide participants a thorough understanding of the theories, practices, and tools of The Regulated Classroom©. Emphasis will be placed upon participants recognizing their own patterns of stress activation and release.

Participants receive a certificate upon completion, training materials, and an Educator Self-Care Toolkit.  Participants are encouraged to return to their respective schools or organizations to train their colleagues in the 4 core practices and essential educator capacities of the approach.
