Our family emergency shelter offers 11 units for families with children. Case management services are key in helping families find permanent housing for their family and in connecting people to resources for themselves and for their children. Families in Transition offers housing programs, emergency shelters, food services, substance use treatment, and more.

People experiencing substance use disorder and in need of programs and services utilize recovery housing as a method of support on their journey to recovery. Residents benefit from a community environment, sharing living settings with people on a common path towards long term recovery.

Families and individuals can do one full pantry shop every 30 days. Choices of fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, and bakery items are available while supplies last. Walk-ins are welcome. Bringing your own bags is highly encouraged.

Special Requirements: Available for Manchester residents. First-time pantry visitors please bring a current photo ID and proof of residence in Manchester. Proof of residence can be a piece of mail, vehicle registration, online bill, etc.

Hours: Mondays, 1-4pm; Tuesdays through Fridays, 10-4pm.

Fellowship Housing offers a variety of housing choices and levels of support based on the needs of each individual. Our housing offers a foundation upon which an individual can achieve and maintain a level of recovery from psychiatric symptoms which enables them to manage their daily lives, be good neighbors, access resources and find acceptance.

Available to Manchester residents. Please bring NH driver’s license with current address and a current utility bill to register.

Food for Children is a non-profit (501-c3), non-denominational ministry working as an inner-city mission united in God’s love; providing food, encouragement, the distribution of clothing, prayer, and other essential items of necessity, while living and acting out our faith to those in our community who struggle in meeting their everyday needs. We endeavor, in all ways, at all times, to ‘be there’ for everyone and above all, to exhibit ‘God’s love in action’ by establishing relationships with the people we serve through extending a listening ear, human love, affection, and emotional support.
Food distribution to families and individuals in need every Saturday beginning at 9:30am. Start lining up for a ticket at around 9:00am, start going through the line at 10:00am. The line moves quickly and they are usually done between 11:00 and 11:30am. During bad weather, anticipate an earlier start time.

Friends of Aine is a 501c3 non-profit organization established to provide bereavement support services to grieving children and families. Borne out of the tragic loss of Aine Marie Phillips (pronounced Ahn-ya) at age 8, and the recognition that bereavement services for Aine’s surviving 5-year-old sister, Bella, were sadly scarce, parents David and Christine set out to fill this void. Friends of Aine was developed to create an enduring legacy for Aine that embodies her spirit and character by helping children and their families who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

For those that have experienced a significant loss, Friends of Aine offers the Good Grief program, bereavement support tailored to children, teens and adults. Grief services are provided by trained professionals who understand the trauma and immense suffering they are going through.
