Makin’ It Happen is delighted to introduce Janelle Havens as our new Resiliency Essentials Project Manager. Janelle brings a wealth of expertise to our team, holding a graduate degree from Merrimack College and boasting one and a half years of experience at the Crisis Center of Central NH, where she assisted with coordinating client services in conjunction with NH DCYF. Her professional background includes providing direct services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
During her tenure at the Crisis Center of Central NH, Janelle was inspired to dedicate her efforts exclusively to prevention and outreach services. Currently, she is diligently working on launching the Resiliency Essentials project, which involves reviewing past initiatives at Makin’ It Happen, creating outreach materials, and expanding our network of community agencies interested in receiving mental health awareness and prevention training.
Looking ahead, Janelle envisions expanding the program to educate a significant portion of the youth in the Greater Manchester region on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. Janelle states that her ultimate goal is to “foster a community where individuals feel empowered to approach someone experiencing a mental health challenge and assist them in accessing the necessary support”.
We are confident that Janelle’s dedication and passion will make a significant impact on our mission. We look forward to the positive changes she will bring to our organization and the communities we serve. Welcome, Janelle, to the Makin’ It Happen team!
