The Granite YMCA is focused on working with kids whose lives are complicated by risk factors including poverty, exposure to violence, substance abuse, poor school performance, engagement in risk-taking behaviors, or significant social-emotional difficulties. The Youth Opportunities Unlimited programs provide support to students who would otherwise fall through the cracks including programs for youth who have been suspended or expelled.

The Coalition for Bedford Youth was formed in 1998 and it is a student group made up of youth leaders from Bedford. Our main high school group, CBY@BHS is made of students in grades 9-12 and our sister group CBY@RAL is grades 7 and 8. We work to bring the community together through community service and events. The best way to reach someone is to speak to them on a common level. The members of C.A. are all recovering addicts who maintain their individual sobreity by working with others. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.

Pick up pre-packages once a month from resource centers including Manchester and Nashua, at one of our satellite sites, or residents of participating housing communities may pick up from that housing delivery drop-site.
