Brookside Thrift Shop serves the greater Manchester community as an arm of the Mission Ministry at Brookside Church. The Thrift Shop accepts donations of clothing and household goods on behalf of the church and sells those items to raise money for charitable and religious missions of the church. The Thrift Shop is located in the brick carriage house behind the church at 2013 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104. When the flag is flying near the ramp entrance, the doors are open for business.

Building Community in New Hampshire was founded in 2009 by a group of refugees from Bhutan to help each other rebuild their lives in New Hampshire. Originally known as the Bhutanese Community of New Hampshire, we broadened our mission and changed our name in 2017. We remain an organization run by and for refugees.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire is a nonprofit that recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers to serve as advocates for children throughout the state who have experienced abuse or neglect. CASA volunteer advocates get to know a child and the important people in that child’s life to provide vital information to help a judge make decisions based on the best interests of the child.

Behavioral Health Services at CMC is an adult outpatient program that assists in patient medication evaluation; symptom management and skill development. Our program offers a range of high-quality, specialized behavioral and substance misuse services emphasizing support to patients and families while ensuring a high level of confidentiality and privacy. We offer board-certified psychiatrists/APRNs; licensed therapists/substance abuse counselors who can evaluate and treat behavioral health/substance misuse issues.

A program to provide addiction treatment and recovery services to pregnant women in the greater Manchester area. The Roots for Recovery program is open to qualified, pregnant women with substance use disorders.

The program’s foundation is a safe space that welcomes anyone who enters, no matter their path to get there. All youth attending the Center for New Americans are given appropriate transportation, a snack, and the ability to learn and grow. We also strive to build a more cohesive community in Manchester, and often host family dinner nights and other cultural celebrations for the community we serve.

The Elliot’s Center for Recovery Management at Manchester (CRMM) is an office-based outpatient clinic providing comprehensive substance use disorder treatment for all substances including alcohol. We take a holistic, evidence-based approach to recovery. Our new, comfortable location brings together all of Elliot’s substance use disorder and addiction recovery services under one roof, providing comprehensive services and patient-centered care. Our multidisciplinary team, which includes medical providers, mental health counselors, recovery coaches, and case managers, offers a range of care options including:

• Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) – use of prescription medications in combination with counseling for the treatment of substance use disorders
• Individual, group, and family counseling
• Recovery coaching and peer support services
• Medical evaluation and addiction stabilization care

Providing comprehensive resources and a national network to connect families in need of child care with trained professionals seeking child care opportunities, Child Care Aware strengthens New Hampshire’s child care system to effectively serve all children, families and child care providers. We also advocate for early childhood educators to receive more affordable access to education and higher wages to continue increasing the quality of care they provide.
