The City of Manchester Health Department is on the search for an on-call Overdose Prevention Outreach Worker. 

Bring your experience, talent, and passion to support our most vulnerable community members. This position canvasses targeted geographic areas in Manchester to offer mental health, social, and healthcare services to at risk individuals.  

Educate various individuals on opioid overdose prevention education, harm reduction strategies, early recovery resources, and providing basic substance misuse counseling, while working closely with other agencies involved with at-risk individuals, occasionally attending meetings, and authoring reports and case notes.  

This position is part-time, with a pay range of $27.22 – $38.85 an hour. The applicant must be available for on call status and hold a valid NH Driver’s License and have sufficient physical capabilities to perform the required work.
