Are you a young adult (18-25) living in the Greater Manchester Region? We have an outstanding, FREE opportunity for you, facilitated by our partners at NAMI-NH.

NAMI NH has received national and international acclaim for its Connect Suicide Prevention Program. Connect is designated as a National Best Practice training program in suicide prevention, intervention and response to a suicide death. By working with and training key service providers and community members, Connect promotes a community based approach to early recognition of mental illness and improved access to care. When people are educated about the risks and warning signs of suicide and ways to prevent it, lives can be saved!

DETAILS:

This free training opportunity is specifically for Young Adults (18-25) in the Greater Manchester Region. It is a free suicide prevention train-the-trainer program facilitated by NAMI NH. It is a 2-day training, you only have to attend the first day if you’d just like the information, however you need to attend both days to be trained as a trainer in the CONNECT Suicide Prevention program. This means that you will be trained to deliver this important training to other young adults once completed!

Day 1: Tuesday, 6/5: 8am-12pm at FIT in Manchester

Day 2: Saturday, 6/9: 8am-3:30pm at the Currier Museum of Art
The second day is done in pairs, so if you are interested in becoming a trainer you should encourage a partner to also sign up. If you do not have a partner, please sign up anyway, as we may be able to pair you up with someone who has already registered.

ACT FAST! The spots are very limited for Day 2, so please follow this link to register right away! https://goo.gl/forms/XtVMaG6iiw7oUh7M2
