On Friday, July 22 Makin’ It Happen hosted a round table discussion regarding the state of prevention with Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Makin’ It Happen was excited to welcome prevention providers from across the state to discuss some of the needs we see in the field. Those in attendance included:

Some of the major points of the round table that were covered included:
- Funding – sustainable funding, population-based
- Mental health support
- Leadership – Fed to State to Regional to local – two-way boots on the ground up, fed down
- Investing in our youth and prevention at an equal effort as treatment and recovery
