The Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority (MHRA) is the largest public housing agency in Northern New England. In addition to owning and managing 1,271 housing apartments for low-income families, elderly, and adults with disabilities, MHRA provides housing subsidies for over 2,000 households through the administration of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. MHRA also offers the Homeownership Program conducted in conjunction with the Housing Choice Voucher Program and operated in partnership with New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority and NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire.

Brings all the functions of a doctor’s office to the streets, allowing providers to conduct checkups, draw bloodwork, give vaccinations, and provide counseling.

The Office of Homelessness Initiatives works to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability in Manchester by way of City-wide coordinated response and increase access to sustainable housing. The office currently operates a shelter and centralized service hub for Manchester Residents facing housing instability.

Offers a variety of activities for school-aged children and adolescents for parent engagement.

School Resource Officers (SRO’s) are assigned to each Manchester high school and middle school from the Manchester Police Department Juvenile Division.

Each middle and high school has an SAP counselor who can provide counseling sessions, education and activities to help youth with various social issues, such as bullying, dating violence, and substance misuse. Check out the M-Power website to be connected to the SAP counselor at your school!

Manchester School of Technology was opened in September of 1982 as “Manchester Skill Center”. It is one of twenty-two regional Career and Technical Centers in the state offering 2- and 3-year CTE programs to sophomores, juniors, and seniors from Manchester, Bedford, Goffstown, Londonderry, and other surrounding towns. Students who attend the MST CTE Center generally come for one 100-minute block each day and are at their traditional high school for the remainder of the school day. Some of our programs require a 2-block commitment.
