Today marks the start of Heroin and Opioid Epidemi Today marks the start of Heroin and Opioid Epidemic Awareness Week. 

This week was created in 2016 by former President Obama under the U.S. Department of Justice to raise awareness of the growing epidemic in the U.S. Seven years later, the budget for National Drug Control Program Agencies has increased by $41.4 billion. 

Makin' It Happen is committed to giving our community and partners the tools needed to help fight this battle.  For more resources on the Opioid and Heroin Crisis, the U.S. Department of Justice directs you to their resource page, link in bio.
