NH’s ZeroLeft Initiative

by | Mar 8, 2019 | Makin ’It Happen Together, Prevention

Thursday, March 7th, was the kickoff event for NH’s ZeroLeft initiative!

As members of the New Hampshire Association of Student Councils we are actively participating in a ZeroLeft – 2000 in 2 challenge.

This means ten teams of youth from ten different high schools in NH are spreading awareness to 90 different location by providing free starter kits – containing 20 deTerra Rx disposal bags and support information, with the goal of raising awareness and promoting safe use, storage and disposal of Rx drugs.

At the end of the two weeks, 2000 deterra bags and 3000 brochures will be distributed.

Everyone can play a role in supporting Prevention and the development of Healthy thriving communities.

You have a pivotal opportunity to review safe use/storage/disposal with your patients and their parent. Sending them how with a kit and instructions will help ensure they have the knowledge they need to support their own health and safety along with others that may be in their home setting.

More information about this initiative and how to sign up to be a supporter and order additional materials can be found at: www.ralinh.org.
