Makin’ It Happen has teamed up with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce this week to host our first of three lunch and learn sessions. The chamber offers the “Hear It Here” program featuring conversations on community issues and challenges with experts, along with strategies for how the business community can become more involved in positive change. Our first session was Understanding Addiction, the Opioid Epidemic and Community Response. We had a great turnout and a very engaged audience. Coming together as a community to understand addiction, we can effectively respond to the Epidemic; and better support all community members to live happy, healthy, lives.
