Makin’ It Happen has teamed up with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to host a series of lunch and learn sessions to educate community members and businesses on how to understand and treat substance use disorders. Our second session, on addiction, treatment, and recovery, was held today. Which featured a panel of local providers that answered questions about their organization’s programs, as well as any other questions the group had. Providers represented on the panel include Health Care for the Homeless (HCH), Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester’s Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT), Hope for NH Recovery, and Families in Transition (FIT) Willows. Our next lunch and learn will be on the topic of ways community members and the business community can be involved in positive change in their communities.
