On Tuesday, July 28th Makin’ It Happen’s Brian Mooney joined Jeanne Venuti, Recovery Friendly Advisor with the Governor’s Recovery Friendly Workplace initiative to present the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester with their official designation as a Recovery Friendly Workplace.
William Rider, President and CEO and Patricia Carty, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester with their official designation.
President and CEO William Rider said of the designation that “the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester supports employees who work together and strive for excellence. Our employees, like all workers, are vulnerable to a myriad of challenging health conditions. Substance Use disorders are no exception. We simply support all employees in their personal quest for health, wellness and a purposeful life.”
Makin’ It Happen looks forward to working alongside the Governor’s Recovery Friendly Workplace Initiative. We are excited to continue to make the Greater Manchester Region Recovery Ready!
Our very own Brian Mooney, Community of Care Manager explains that “this important initiative is aligned with our efforts to promote the Greater Manchester Region as a Recovery Ready Community. Makin’ It Happen is continuing our work with the SUD Continuum to elevate organizational excellence in stigma reduction around mental illness and substance use disorders! MHCGM is a leader in this work, and an example of an organization that supports its workforce with intention and meaning.”
