Makin’ It Happen along with our community partners is proud to be a part of a new initiative for the City of Manchester. Manchester Wellness on Wheels (MWOW) will be rolling into a neighborhood near you bringing health, wellness, and fun to all. The event will offer resources and fun family activities to community members.
Community partners from across Manchester are supporting this event including ORIS-Fresh Start Farms, Elliot Health Systems, Manchester School District, Manchester City Library, Office of the Mayor, Southern New Hampshire Services, Amoskeag Health, LAUNCH Manchester, UNH Cooperative Extension, Easterseals Child Development Center, NH Food Bank. City of Manchester Health Department, City of Manchester Parks and Recreation, YMCA of Downtown Manchester and of course Makin’ It Happen.
This event will include fresh fruits and veggies, access to the Bookmobile, lawn games from the YMCA, Patch the comfort dog, vaccines from the Health Department, and more!
Locations for this event include:
- Elmwood Gardens: Wednesday July 14th from 10:30am to 12:30pm
- Gossler Park School: Wednesday July 21st from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
- Kelley Falls: Friday August 6th from 10:30am to 12:30pm
- Beech St. School: Wednesday August 18th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
