Makin’ It Happen is pleased to extend a warm welcome to Maureen O’Leary, who joins our team as the new Project and Grant Manager. Maureen brings with her a wealth of experience, having undertaken freelance assignments for Makin’ It Happen in 2020, during which she effectively managed various website design projects. “I was exposed to some of the projects they did, [and] I loved that the work they do has a positive impact on people’s lives” Maureen says.
With a strategic focus on fostering growth and enhanced organization, Maureen is poised to leverage her adept project management and marketing communications skills to further Makin’ It Happen’s mission. Looking at her work, Maureen says, “Right now, I am creating some systems to keep things moving forward in a positive, effective way.” Notably, Maureen’s primary responsibilities will encompass grant management, a pivotal role as Makin’ It Happen continues to expand and secure new avenues of funding. Makin’ It Happen is enthusiastic about the valuable contributions Maureen O’Leary will make in propelling our initiatives forward. Her expertise and dedication will help shape our success as we continue to evolve and achieve our goals.
