On Tuesday, August 13,  Makin’ It Happen, in collaboration with Amoskeag Health, hosted the 2nd Wellness On Wheels (W.O.W) resource fair of the year at Jewett Street School for school registration night! WOW is exactly the word to describe this event from the massive turnout to amazing connections!

There were 100 students that registered for school in the Fall, with 62 completed surveys of the event representative of 16 schools in the Manchester School District.  In addition, Makin’ It Happen staff were able to connect with many students and parents by dispersing 200 back to school supplies, such as crayons, pencils, pencil sharpeners, etc.!

We would like to extend a huge “Thank you!” to the following participating partners:

  • Amoskeag Health
  • Catholic Medical Center
  • Healthcare for the Homeless Mobile Unit
  • Elliot Hospital
