Thank you to everyone who participated in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day!
We were Making’ It Happen over the weekend! On Saturday, a steady flow of community members came out to support prevention, dropping their unwanted and unused prescription drugs off in 7 locations across the Greater Manchester Region. Making’ It Happen staff, empowerYouth! teen volunteers, and many community partners were out to help this enormous and highly successful effort to aid residents in a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.
It was a great community effort and thank you so much to all who came out! If you missed it, we encourage you to use one of the convenient locations across the region with permanent prescription drug drop boxes, where you can anonymously dispose of unwanted prescription drugs, 24-7!
