After another fantastic day of community and medicine safety prevention, the results of DEA National Takeback Day were impressive across the Greater Manchester Region and beyond! The Greater Manchester Region collected an enormous 1,240.6 pounds of medications, while the entire state collected 10,117.6 pounds.
The success of this day would not be possible without the dedication of the Greater Manchester drop-off locations, including: the police departments of Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Deerfield, Goffstown, Hooksett, and New Boston, along with the Manchester collection sites at Manchester VA Hospital and Elliot At Rivers Edge! Thank you for makin’ collection happen in our region! We also extend a special shout out to all collection sites in the state for providing accessibility for medicine safety.
We would like to say a special thank you to our local DEA New England and federal DEA partner for their continual efforts to support and instill prevention into communities both in New England and across the country!
