Our Community Learning Series runs once a month from 6-8pm at Jupiter Hall (89 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH). Community members are invited to participate in this free, no-registration-required series to help make a difference in the health of their neighborhoods. The series kicked off on November 13th with “Understanding Addiction” presented by Serenity Place. In December, NH Teen Institute led an interactive session, “Youth Communication and Prevention.” Tuesday night, Devin Oot and Kat Howland (pictured above) brought their expertise to the the series from the Partnership for a Drug Free NH to inform community members about “Language and Stigma.”

Despite New Hampshire winter weather of snow, ice, and rain falling on each of these evening sessions, the Community Learning Series has been informative, engaging, and well-attended by community members. We welcome you to join us at our next session: Tuesday, February 20th, 6-8pm at Jupiter Hall. The Manchester Health Department will be presenting “Building Community Resilience.” This promises to be another great session in the series — we hope to see you! A big thanks to all of our community partners for their enthusiastic participation.
