Last week, team members from Makin' It Happen had the honor of attending the 2024 New Hampshire State Capitol Day! 💙💛 It was amazing to learn more about how advocacy impacts public health, especially on the forefront of suicide prevention. We also learned how we can be champions for change through being a part of public health policy!🗣️ Thank you Nami @nami_new_hampshire ,NH Suicide Prevention Council, @newfuturesnh , @outright_pride , and @afspnewhampshire for a fabulous day!

Last week, Makin’ It Happen attended the monthly Community Advisory Board (CAB) meeting hosted by the Manchester Police Department! 🤩 The topic this month provided important insight into the Emergency Management System from Manchester Fire Department’s Emergency Management Coordinator, Meghan Geoffrion!💙 The information also highlighted how it correlates and intersects with policing!

CAB meeting occur the first Wednesday of each month at the Manchester Police Department and are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! 🗓️ Come learn about important topics, ask questions, and be a part of impactful conversation!
