Join us for this free suicide prevention training hosted by Makin’ It Happen and open for anyone who lives or works in the Greater Manchester region (Manchester, Hooksett, Bedford, Deerfield, New Boston, Auburn, Candia, Goffstown).

“Talk Saves Lives” is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s standardized, 60-minute education program that provides participants with a clear understanding of suicide. This presentation was recently refreshed based on feedback from presenters, content experts, and people with lived experience, resulting in a more inclusive presentation and design with additional strategies and examples for how to have a conversation about suicide.

Topics covered include:
The latest data on suicide in the U.S.
Information on what causes people to consider suicide & how certain communities are impacted by suicide differently.
Guidance on suicide warning signs, how to start a conversation with someone you are concerned about, and resources.
