October is Red Ribbon Month, a time in which we honor the memory of Special Agent Enrique Camarena, in addition to raising awareness about the dangers of drugs, especially amongst our youth. This year the DEA & the DEA 360 Strategy in partnership with Makin’ it Happen Coalition for Resilient Youth, Daniel Webster Council, The Manchester and Nashua Police Departments, Walmart, Aware Recovery, Manchester College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. NH HIDTA, Department of Juvenile Probation, Granite United Way-Concord,CAST and Raymond Coalitions will hold the First Annual Red Ribbon Event and Award Ceremony to kick of Red Ribbon Week. The events start with the first annual “Live Drug Free-Red Ribbon Event” A Family Fun Day On October 12th from 1-6pm at the Daniel Webster Campgrounds it Manchester.
