Makin’ It Happen, located in Manchester, NH is looking for motivated self-starters to assist with multiple initiatives across the Continuum of Care (CoC) for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery. In addition, we have opportunities working in Substance Misuse Prevention (SMP) with a focus on Mental Wellness, Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) across the life span.

- Social Media Content development
- Web Resource content development and expansion
- Mentor support to our dynamic empowerYOUTH! initiative
- Development and implementation support to our empowerYou! initiative
Makin’ It Happen is a community-based prevention coalition within the Greater Manchester region focused on to building resiliency among our youth, families and communities. In addition to our prevention work, we also manage the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Continuum of Care (CoC), the Substance Misuse Prevention (SMP), and the Young Adult prevention Strategies (YAS) for Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) for the region. This work is done through our three core initiatives: empowerYouth!, focused on engaging, educating and empowering our young people; empowerYou!, designed to inform, inspire and ignite passion for prevention among our adults; and our Community of Care (CoC), designed to bring our continuum of care partners together to support our communities and build a Recovery Ready Region! We serve eight communities: Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Deerfield, Goffstown, Hooksett, Manchester and New Boston.
