We began our "Clip the Stigma" Initiative earlier We began our "Clip the Stigma" Initiative earlier this year, and the impact has been incredible.

Stylists and barbers hear it all... both the highs and the lows of their clients' lives. They often serve as a listening ear, providing a safe space to talk.

Through this initiative, we provide suicide prevention training so these providers know the right questions to ask, can offer support, and are prepared to connect clients with the resources and services they may need.

This conference is close to our organization's heart as suicide prevention hold a crucial role in cultivating resilient youth, families, and communities. Dr. Joyce Chu emphasized the importance of integrating cultural considerations into suicide prevention curricula, and the panel of professionals shared their experiences and impact across New Hampshire. It was an amazing morning connecting with our community partners and learning from one another.
