On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, we celebrated the kickoff of our 2024-2025 Community of Care Collaborative meetings! The Community of Care Collaborative meeting focuses on bringing together providers across the continuum of care along the four pillars of Homelessness Support, Overdose Prevention, Mental Health, and Prevention/ Treatment/ Recovery.

We want to thank Kelli Rafferty, Elliot Health Systems Executive Director of Solution Health Philanthropy and Director of Community Benefit, for her presentation of the Elliot Suicide Prevention Bridge Sign Project. Elliot Health Systems spearheaded the initiative, along with other supporting partners, to install prevention signs on bridges throughout Manchester with information for 988 in hopes of preventing suicides. This project will bring focus to building prevention throughout Manchester and will impact on many lives! Please view a visual of one of the signs below and be sure to keep an eye out throughout Manchester.

We also want to extend our gratitude to Randy Stevens, Hope For NH Recovery’s Executive Director, for producing a video explaining the upcoming Hope Festival, which is taking place September 28 at Veteran’s Parkin Manchester. This event is an opportunity for the Manchester community to support and share in recovery journeys. To make the most impact on an already inspiring day, please consider becoming a volunteer for the event or for future events with Hope For NH Recovery by emailing [email protected] !

Each month, we also have updated reports on our 4 pillars. Thank you to our partners who provide this important reports each month, including: Andrew Warner (Manchester Health Department), Jonathan Routhier (Executive Director of Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester), and Manchester Homelessness Initiatives!

In addition to this, we welcomed the promotion of our team member, Janelle Havens, formerly our Resiliency Essentials Program Manager, who is now our Recovery Ready Community Director! We congratulate her on leading the first collaborative of the year with success!

We are excited about future topics and presentations to come for the rest of the year! If you are involved with any of the 4 pillars and are interested in being included in future meetings, please contact Janelle Havens at [email protected] .
